BSA703-team Contributions

At the beginning the team was pretty into the project and wok was reasonably and evenly delegated. But as time went on we had a couple of people who essentially dropped from the project until the last minute.

The writing team started out with about 6 people and as the script grew closer to the end, we decided to make it only 3 people. This helped to create and keep a more cohesive scrip for our storyboarding team.

The storyboarding team consisted of 6 people who created in the end about 4 different versions of storyboard that the editing team then made into about 11 different versions. The animatic was worked on for around 5 weeks, which was longer than I had anticipated.

The editing and audio team created our final animatic. This was completed around the halfway mark of our schedule. After the animatic, Edwin had to put the video into Premiere Pro and export each shot as an image sequence so that our animators could put the image sequence into Toon Boom Harmony to animate over.

During our late nights working on the project, we had six people who consistently came in to work on the project right until the end.

Our four animators worked extremely hard to complete their key-frame and in-between animations for our clean up team.

The clean up team worked extremely hard as well in order to complete shots for editing. Once the animators had finished their allocated shots they moved onto the clean up team to help our three clean up artists.

The 3D team lacked in terms of time and contribution. Two of their members dropped due to physical and mental health complications. Ian Jenkins and Edwin Nicholson ended up picking up a lot of lost work as people became sick or unresponsive to the project.  Thomas George textured every set with the help of some UV unwrapping being done by Becca and Sarah.

Our Director Max Candy put a lot of hours into this project. He was here working on it whenever he could. Without his constant work we wouldn’t have ended up with our completed product at the standard it was at the showing.
